Biographies - Elmira Township

Mrs. Abby M. Blanchard, widow of W. D. Blanchard, died August 18, 1885. She was born in Maine in 1811, married in 1853, and came here that year.

Eugene, the youngest son of Mark Blanchard, of Elmira, died at Stuart, Ia., in September, 1883.

On November 12, 1886, Mrs. Ann Blanchard, wife of J. Blanchard, aged sixty-five years, died. She was the daughter of Hugh and Anna White, pioneers of the county, and more recently of Harvey county, Kan.
