Biographies - Elmira Township

Samuel Montooth, born in Tyrone county, Ireland, in 1799, and his wife, born there in 1810, came to the United States in 1830 and to Elmira township in 1858.

Lieutenant Hunter, who married their daughter, was killed at Murfreesboro.
