John Sargent

Elder John Sargent, born in Maryland, October, 1793, served two campaigns in the War of 1812, after moving to Ohio with his parents; came to Henry county in 1850, to Stark county in 1853, later to Missouri, from which he was driven by the Jay-hawkers in 1861. He returned and settling at Millbrook, Peoria county, died there Julv 14, 1882.
